STALLION OWNERS HAVE CREATED THE STRIKE IT RICH STALLION FUTURITY TO PROMOTE APPALOOSA STALLIONS.

The 2008 futurity will mark the 10th running of the Strike It Rich Stallion Futurity, now with an added purse amount of $25,000. It will be run in Tulsa, Oklahoma (Fair Meadows Race Track) and will be a 350 yard sprint race.

There are two ways to get involved in the Strike It Rich Stallion Futurity program
  1. Nominate a stallion for the upcoming breeding season (and receive a free entry into a future race). Nominating Deadline is December 31, 2007, at which timehalf the payment is $375.00. The second half for stallion nominations is due by Feb. 1, 2008, while late stallion nominations will be accepted only until March 1, 2008, with an additional $100 late fee (total of $850.00). ALL STALLION NOMINATIONS ARE ENTITLED TO ONE FREE BIRTH TO THE YEAR NOMINATED INTO ELIGIBLE FOALS WILL BE NAMED BY NAME OR DAM AT TIME OF WEANLING PAYMENT.
  2. Purchase an eligible foal sired by a Strike It Rich Stallion from a SIRF stallion owner. Some stallions are available on this web site: See "For Sale" page and the list of participating stallions under this "Strike It Rich Page".
